I want to congratulate Moore-Towers Moscovitch for finishing fifth at their first Olympics, a higher finish than real, actual Canadian skating stars Dube Davison finished in either of their trips to the games.

But then I remembered this:

Nor by Olympic results either, I'd imagine, since this Ontario skating insider couldn't possibly have been wrong. We've all seen over the past few years that when there's brains being handed out, the Ontario figure skating community likes to get up early.

Congratulations MTM! Even though very few people in Canada like you, *I* like you!

I confess, I could not get through Episodes 6 & 7 of Tessa & Scott. They may not feel humiliated but I felt humiliated for them, straight across the board: the horrific penis stuff, finding out Tessa's a psychopath, realizing Cassandra's a low talker:

and how the whole thing appeared set up as a companion piece to their inexorable march to Sochi gold and how it just sort of curled up and turned to dust, a little artifact of delusion.

Re the shot of Cassandra above - we saw her at the point in Ep. 6* when Tessa v.o.'d that they weren't introduced (because that makes sense) because Scott is so good at keeping his private life from his skating life, which is why you'd need a yeti-sized proctoscope to get his family out from up the ass of his skating career.

Then I enjoyed this gif:

So you know, this was completely accidental, per tumblr.
He is not kissing her.
This is what makes me laugh when people want to know
how they could hide a baby. They could have a little
girl walking between them wearing an "I'm Tessa and Scott's daughter"
sandwich board and these fans would explain to us it meant something different.

What are they doing up there? I'll have to go over to fsu to find out how this fits into their reality show narrative of their relationship, not to mention their narrative of the story of their free dance, because I seem to always get it wrong.

I think I have just about resigned myself to the free dance results, although I am still flabbergasted that ANYBODY in Moirville on social media professes to be somewhat in the dark about how the results in the team dance came about. Perhaps Moirville hasn't been paying attention the past two years because they've been focusing on other things.

_______________
*I checked out, but did not exactly watch, Ep. 6. I heard about something in it and thought I could have fun with it, but when I ff to that part of the episode it was too dull.  Before I gave up, though, I was at least cheered by another glimpse of this pretty face:

Still have both condoms?

Forget FSU. Twitter is the place for all of your answers. Clueless fans or those prepared to misled are standing by to clarify to new fans that nevermind they've seen VM kiss 44645468794647687987 times now this Olympics, they are definitely not a couple.

"I think I have just about resigned myself to the free dance results"

I am resigned, but Sunday and Monday are not going to be pretty for me. There were a few other skaters out there who I know aren't going to medal, but I just wanted them to have good skates for themselves these games. That's what I'm down to wishing for when it comes to VM.

I have a feeling that whoever ends up in bronze medal position will also be not the team that should have been there.

  2. I am Canadian and a huge fan of MTM I have liked them for a couple of years now. I feel that they haven't received the respect and credit for what they put out on the ice. Was very happy for them today. They had a beautiful skate.

I saw this article posted. What I found interesting is that the young lady admired and is inspired by T&S skating. Yet I am sure she has watched M&C and nothing about them. Even she can see that T&S are the actual dancers on the ice.

    2. No problem! I still find it interesting that this Lansing paper are featuring T&S. You would think that the going lady would be inspired by M&C. Yet no mention of them. You would think they would be all over the local team.

    3. You get inspired by whom you get inspired by. Doesn't matter if that inspiration is not local. And it's interesting that they mentioned in the paper how big Katlin was on dancing. Of course she'd pick out the best dancers out of the ice dance teams training there.

  4. So Russia got gold in the Team Event and the Pairs (although V/T's performance was less than stellar). Do you think they'll make good on their end of the deal now, or just tell the US to fuck off?

    1. VT were less than stellar but the rightful winners today. The pairs podium was correct.

I am hoping that Russia drops their end of the bargain. BS or IK as Olympic champions are both far more palatable options.

    2. It seems to be set in stone. It's going down exactly like they want it to. The fix has been in for a very long time now. There is no way Carmen should have gotten the shitty marks it did last season. Such a travesty.

    4. @Anon 9:46: Oh, I totally agree that V/T were rightful winners, but one wonders if S/S had skated clean if they could have closed the gap, especially with that throw-triple axel.

I too hope one of the Russian teams win; better one of them than D/W on top.

      Delete
    5. Why can't they just ignore the flaws in the Russian skaters the way they do in D&W? At least the Russian dancers have strong edges. If I&K do two clean programs what is better about D&W? At least I&K dance the proper rhythms in the SD and hit a nice line or two in their FD.

    6. My feeling about S/S is they have wonderful technique at blade level but they don't skate with consistent speed. They slow waaaaaaaay down at times, particularly setting up for throws and exiting jumps.

    7. They were barely moving by the time they got to the axel at the end. So disappointing...

  5. I recently stumbled across this blog and have become so intrigued by the claims that VM have a secret love child and that they are married. Maybe I need to read more posts but I'm a little confused on why they would lie about their relationship in the first place. I don't see the logic to why they would stand by their concocted sham for so long. IMO what sort of self-respecting couple would belittle their relationship like that? Can someone explain/clarify for me because I don't get why VM chooses to scam us.

    1. Their kid isn't a secret love child.

This is figure skating. How often does logic play a large role in how it's run or shaped the decisions of its governing body, federations, and skaters/families that support them? The culture surrounding the sport facilitates all of the bullshit, on and off the ice.

      Delete
    2. Have you seen their reality show and the narrative they used it to sell? Self-respecting people don't create something like that.

      Delete
    3. Why don't you read MORE of the blog, and the thousands of times your questions have been asked and see what the answers are.

Everybody who comes here "Stumbles across it for the first time."

Here's one: I am not Tessa and Scott. I am one of the many people who know for a stone cold fact that they are married (since the fall of 2009, and they married in Monaco directly after TEB), and I know they have a little girl.

If you want to know why they'd do what they do, you'll have to ask them because their reasons (privacy) don't match their behavior and how they have escalated their bullshit. I and others do a ton of speculating on the blog about what motivates them, based on their public statements and the public behavior of their nearest and dearest, but to figure out the source of the crazy, you have to find out from them. They're very special.

I second the suggestion to look at their reality show, try to remember they are REAL people and use the REAL people yardstick to evaluate what they say about themselves in their reality show. Don't think of themselves as fan fiction characters, remember they are REAL, grown up people, at least chronologically they're grown up. Look at the claims they make for themselves in the reality show and see if it strikes you as fan fiction or plausible.

I am not and have not responded to any demands that I share how I know they're married with a child. However, if it helps you evaluate their history as liars, right after the Olympics 2010 they wrote a book, and the central drama of that book was that they didn't see each other, didn't lay eyes on each other, didn't text, phone, talk, or communicate in any way for two months. Then look on the blog for the videos and photos of them together during that period of time. Also look on the blog for Marijane Strong's comments on their 2009 performance at Canadians, during which she reports Scott and Tessa spent her surgical recovery in London in her apartment working as much as they could on their programs so they'd be ready when they returned.

This is not how I know they're married with a child, but it is an example of their habit of claiming the absolute opposite of the truth and SELLING it, whenever they feel like it. They'd be promoting their book and getting WEEPY about this nonexistent rift.

If this example is meaningless to you, don't come here and expect the blog to try and make it meaningful to you. That's up to you.

      Delete
    4. And p.s., it's not a "secret love child." It's their daughter. They live together and she lives with them. The chronology is they married in Monaco in 2009 (right after TEB), won the Olympics and Worlds, and Tessa had a baby some weeks prior to 4CCs 2011.

I am also not going over stuff that has been thoroughly covered here by others - such as "How can she have been pregnant she never looked pregnant and she skated blah blah blah." That stuff has been thoroughly addressed here (with links) by people who have a completely different opinion than that, and despite the strength with which I'm saying this now, the point is, it isn't my job or my intention to work to change someone's mind if they don't believe the blog. A lot of people who don't believe the blog also seem to believe I must be personally invested in convincing them personally and I'm not. I can live with anyone who doesn't believe the blog.

      Delete
    5. Hey OC I have always been curious, if you care to share, exactly how many weeks before 4CC did she give birth? Six?

      Delete
    6. OC I've been reading your blog and am so intrigued by this. I just wanted to make sure I understand the entire extent of what is being claimed as the hoax. Basically that Tessa and Scott have been married since 2009 and had a baby in 2011, yet continue to claim that they aren't together and that both have been in relationships with others, including fabricating a relationship between Scott and Jessica Dube? Is that the gist or are there other lies?

      Delete
    7. That's the gist. There are a million other lies but they're all there to bolster the core lie (other lies like the rift, like living separately, their various and ever-changing claims about Kate moving with Tessa - I think they once tried to say she moved to Kitchener when VM did, then they said she moved to Michigan when VM did - neither is true).

      Delete
    8. So you're saying that all of those pictures of Jessica and Scott are completely fabricated and that Jessica was in on all of this as well? What motivation would Jessica have to carry this on? I've been reading and I take it your opinion is that Jessica is definitely not innocent in all of this.

      Delete
    9. I don't know all of Jessica's motivation. At the very start, Jessica & Bryce were presumed to be in the same position as VM - Vancouver medal contenders, partners, personally involved. Switch partners, and there you go. Initially it appeared to "benefit" VM and D&D almost equally.

Jessica doesn't come from a family of means, a la Tessa Virtue, Davis White, the Shibs. A lot of skaters who scrape for the money don't (unlike VM, Davis White, the Shibs) have their families at international competitions. Jessica had her parents at TEB 2009. I can't say for certain, but I'm quite convinced neither she nor her parents paid for that. She budgeted then, she budgets now, it was a first GP, and she and her parents shammed their heads off in Paris. In certain aspects of her life, money is a big concern; in other, connected to the sham, it's not.

Jessica's parents and brother were also at Nice for Worlds. Again, this isn't something Jessica or her parents could afford on their own. (Yes, I am suggesting the Virtues paid for it.)

Jessica was named one of "Hello" magazine's most beautiful in 2010. "Hello" had an Olympic slot for this issue and in an event that included Tessa Virtue and Joanne Rochette (both Vancouver success stories) "Hello" chose Jessica. I don't believe "Hello" tracks figure skaters. I believe they shot an email to Barb McDonald requesting candidates for the skating slot (as is par for the course with magazine issues like this - publicists suggest the names), and Barb promoted Jessica, who, incidentally, slid a sham mention into her "most beautiful" profile.

Jessica and her two siblings also enjoyed an all-expenses paid one-week trip to the Dominican in 2009, where (while Tessa was in the south of France and Moncao), Jessica did a bunch of sham posing.

When Jessica dumped Bryce, Skate Canada re-wrote the circumstances and bent over backwords promoting her and Wolfe.

Jessica went to Danny Moir's wedding (Mexico) free of charge.

      There were perks, IOW.

      Delete
    10. P.S., I would also note this. During the time Jessica shammed with Scott (and that relationship was completely fake) she continued to spend most of her free time with Bryce. The same weird disconnect that existed with VM existed with D&D. According to D&D, they were "ex" bf and gf at the time her face was slashed (although that was the only time they'd admitted they'd BEEN a couple - after they claimed it was done). Bryce and Jessica did a tabloid feature for "Tellemont" sports, called "Triangle sur la glace" in which it was claimed that Jessica's relationship with Scott had destroyed Bryce's relationship with Scott (while apparently Jessica's relationship with Bryce continued just fine). Setting aside why the fuck two skaters would proactively get a story like this out, both participating, each acting like there was nothing weird in Bryce/Scott being severed forever, but JESSICA/Bryce being fine, Bryce's POV was he'd somehow been done dirty by Scott. Meantime his family (his ferocious sister, particularly) maintained loving relations with Jessica, the woman who'd humiliated his beloved brother.

During the sham, there was very little activity on Bryce's facebook but there was intermittent activity on the facebook of a former skater called Dani Steeves, who was promoted as Bryce's girlfriend. That died out.

Jessica's Olympic facebook from 2010 had numerous pictures of her at her mom's b'day party with Bryce (no Scott), on the train with Bryce, partying with Bryce, etc. and her shots with Scott were taken at mass events (opening ceremonies, Lululemon party). Bryce also accompanied her (and other skaters) to VM's bash for their gold medal - generous of him considering he supposedly hates Scott.

FF to Jessica offloading an injured Bryce for Sebastien Wolfe. She handled that like SHIT. She and Wolfe proceeded to have what was, IMO, a pretty good season with a boost from Skate Canada (guaranteed GP assignments), and, thanks to a meltdown by MTM, they made worlds. That would be fantastic for a team like that, but Jessica acted like someone shot her through the heart. Shortly afterwards, she "retired". She resurfaced at BOTB, and lo, it turned out Bryce was a coach for her team (No, I don't think they invented the Wolfe rift, I just think that in the end, they can't quit each other). After BOTB, Bryce (after 2 year of nothing) posed with Dylan Mocovitch with their respective girlfriends. He also showed at an SC event in January with Jessica.

This is just an outline of Jessica/Bryce stuff. None of it forms any part of how I know Tessa and Scott are together.

      Delete
    11. Wow. So do you think that Jessica was even fully aware of this scheme? Or was she just a pawn for V/M, thinking she was in some kind of open or not entirely committed relationship with Scott while not knowing that she was being used to fool the public?

In other words, did the conversation go like this: "Hey Jessica we need you to pretend like you are dating Scott in order to fool the media so that we can deny that we are actually married and have a kid. In doing so you will need to appear in public with Scott, go on vacations with him, go to family events, take pictures with him, hold his hand, kiss him and give up a significant amount of personal time in order to appear like you are dating Scott. In return we promise you lots of money, fun vacations, and trips for your family to see you skate. Your life will approve significantly if you help us."

Or was Jessica just used....told nothing of the hoax yet courted by Scott with an understanding that they were "kind of sort of in a relationship". Maybe she knew nothing about Scott and Tessa being serious, hearing rumors here and there that Scott lied to her about. Maybe she legitimately thought that she was "sort of" with Scott in an open way and was waiting on a commitment from him that would never be made. This would explain why she was with Bryce so often. They were "together" but no real commitment left the door open.

      Delete
    12. Think about your theory. Scott Moir, in an exclusive, committed relationship with Tessa for years, then officially engaged to Tessa, then MARRIED to Tessa, then PARENTS with Tessa, tricked Jessica into thinking she was in a relationship with him. You do realize what would be involved in tricking her right? Sleeping with her. They hoaxed for more than a year after Scott and Tessa had a baby.

OF COURSE she was in on it. And her parents. And Bryce. And all of Skate Canada. All of the parties and their extended communities and connections participated. It was an agreement between Dube Moir if you take "Dube" as Jessica and her side and "Moir" as Scott and his.

    13. Ok so this all begs the question: What is Skate Canada's motivation is for covering this up?

I know you aren't sure of Scott and Tessa's motivation, but the whole situation makes no sense. I can completely understand not wanting to share their romantic relationship until after the 2010 Olympics, even if they were married at the time. Plenty of skaters keep their romantic relationship under wraps until after the Olympics. But after the games, especially after they won the gold medal, why NOT say anything? And the pregnancy......well, they're married. Married couples have children. There is absolutely no shame in that. They chose to continue with the pregnancy and parent, why not own it? And they had already earned so much respect as Olympic gold medalists. I can't imagine that a marriage and pregnancy would have negatively affected them in any way. I understand that they planned to continue competing through to this Olympics, but I just don't understand how anyone even could claim an adult married couple having a child is a bad thing. Gordeeva and Grinkov were very young when they got married and had their daughter, already with one Olympic gold under their belt, and were able to train and return for the 1994 Olympics while parenting their child. Why would it be any different for Tessa and Scott?

Where exactly does Skate Canada play in to this? Is it somehow a negative thing for them to be married and have a child so they felt pressure from Skate Canada to cover this up?

      Delete
    14. 2:09, I really suggest you take the time to go back to the beginning of the blog and read the entries. A lot of your questions have been touched upon, if not discussed in depth from several different angles.

No, whether planned or unplanned (OC believes it was planned, there are others who think it wasn't), being married and having a child is nothing negative to cover up in the minds of reasonable people. We are not dealing with reasonable people here. You always have to keep that in mind.

Those who run Skate Canada are not the most competent bunch. They're a bunch of attention hungry, busy-bodies, eager to get themselves in the spotlight rather than put the skaters in the spotlight. This is not a competent organization. Participating in the sham allowed some of these people the opportunity to be in the spotlight and was also make-work while they were NOT doing the jobs they needed to be doing.

  6. Bahahahahaha, twitter was wild with excitement for MTM last night. Oh, but that probably counts for as little as message boards. Take what the insider figure skating community says, and you know the exact opposite is true. They have "marketable" written all over them.

  7. Re: Moore-Towers/Moscovitch, I like them much MUCH more than Duhamel/Radford and so does everyone else that I know. The team that just placed 5th at the Olympics is the one that Skate Canada quite happily dumped for Dube/Wolfe. Shows them! Nothing but respect for Kirsten and Dylan.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Kirsten and Dylan are a lot more likable than Duhamel/Redford. I don't know anybody who actually likes D/R, they come across rather arrogant and vile. MTM look nice, skate lovely programs and have star appeal, especially Kristen.

The judges had mercy with Chan and kept him in the race but I believe he needs the skate of a lifetime to be a clean Hanyu. The Japanese media and public won't accept it quietly if Chan gets inflated scores to take the gold.
    It serves SC right.

    1. On nbcolympics, Brian Boitano was looking for Hanyu, Chan and Abbott (Abbott because Boitano is a big fan). I guess he knew Plushenko might not be long for this competition because he didn't even mention him. He felt Chan had incredible pressure and Hanyu nothing to lose.

      Delete
    2. I agree about MTM versus Duhamel/Radford. I don't like using the "likeability" yardstick - or overusing it, but MTM's likeability translates into performance - they are the more natural movers, they're very musical, they relate to each other better on the ice - by that I don't mean eye contact (although theirs is better) or emoting, but they each adjust themselves physically to the other, while Duhamel/Radford are predetermined, which can be dangerous if one of them is off. They work together more fluidly in performance.

      Delete
    3. I only regret that Chan has such a lead that he'll be on the podium no matter what. No medal would have been an ideal fuck you to SC.

D/R bombing is also a nice fuck you for the time Megan favorited a nasty comment about Tessa taking a break in the FD. Fuck you Megan and your sense of entitlement over a medal.

    6. At Monday's practice they ran through it with Scott remaining in the spread eagle position while Marina and Johnny Johns video taped it and then reviewed it at the boards with V/M. It doesn't necessarily mean they're going to change it in the program. They may have been working to check Tessa's positioning in the lift or something. It's also possible they were given feedback from the judges to change the lift. It's not like judges haven't been given them feedback this late in the game before.

      Delete
    7. At that practice V/M were the only other team on the ice besides the Chinese dance pair, so they basically had the ice to themselves. They were in a great mood, joking with each other, dancing a bit to all of the music, and playfully interacting with Johnny Johns, Oleg Epstein, and Marina Zueva, all of who were wearing Canada gear. The camera stayed zoomed in on them so it was easy to watch their interactions with their coaches and with each other up close. No one looked worried or stressed. Quite the opposite, actually. V/M and their coaches seemed focused, but also calm and happy.

This is far too late to make a major change like that. They have no idea how that lift will score level-wise so hello no higher than level 3 and low GOE. It also makes them look desperate and therefore pathetic, so that'll end up with even lower PCS.

    2. exactly!

how do you know?!! I completely agree with you. Which makes me think theyre incredibly stupid. they know the fix is in, so go skate the program at grand prix final where you got the best marks or nationals! this REALLY makes me think marena is not living up to her coaching obligations. Never been a marena-basher, she cant fix the fix, but she can control how they react, and she must know this is ridiculous.

      OC? what do you think?

    3. The program layout was perfect at nationals. They didn't need to change anything, just go home and polish. Now, they've been messing with it and making a major change with the lift at the very last minute.

We didn't see them making these kinds of last minute changes to Mahler in 2010 or Funny Face between 4CC and Worlds in 2012.

    5. Right. No one changes a lift like that at the Olympics if they're not in panic mode. Surely they're not dumb enough to still think they can win after being dumped like that on Sunday. Maybe they are afraid of not even getting silver. The rumor after worlds was that Russia wanted more than a bronze medal. With the deal between Russia and the US, it would surprise me if the plan is for VM to be bronze or off the podium. Both BS and IK could be placed above them.

    6. LMFAO!!!!

Why can't they just pull a Plushenko and withdraw. Spare us all, please guys.

    9. stop. vm cannot lose silver. the team event showed the ceiling for the Russian performers. in no way can they be scored more than that since they were overscored quite obviously in the team. and they all performed at their best. vm gets silver, and a Russian team gets bronze and 4th place and PB get 5th. everyone knows that. so for VM to be acting differently makes me think they are really dumb and their management and coaching even dumber.

      Delete
    10. We know that there's a deal. Of course the Russians can be marked up even higher and VM lowballed.

      Delete
    11. Yes they can lose silver. There is no ceiling when the entire system is based on bullshit. They can essentially plug in any level they want and any GOE they want. It's not like you do a huge quad and they have to give you that quad.

If someone like that Ice Dance Analyst site actually goes to the trouble of gifing and explaining all the key points, everyone just says we'll never have the camera angle the caller had. That magical camera angle that always shows Meryl on an edge instead of a flat. We can't question anything that they do because nothing is explained or has to be justified. They will never break down a step sequence for us and tell us what the turns were (the way a gymnast's routine can be broken down when they want to appeal), and which turns were not credited toward the level. They can throw out a random level 2 on the curve left at TEB for saying Scott didn't hold his position long enough which is bullshit to anyone else's eyes.

Wake up call: P&B got the highest base value of the top teams in the SD. So they did what they were supposed do, and the caller even credited them, and they're STILL fourth. B&S had the SAME base value as V&M and D&W. V&M are not that far ahead anymore on paper.

    13. then if silver is at issue, DONT CHANGE! the only lift in free dance that's stunning. how about taking out the lift from the 06 season? what's that about! this is a huge mistake and makes me think they're ceding silver to the Russians.

    14. marina has treated v/m like absolute garbage this season. how could the same woman who gave V/M GG's music do this to them?

    15. People, calm the fuck down. Tessa mentioned in an interview after the FD that she hit a rut in the ice, and that's why their timing was all off for that particular lift. They're probably just practising that portion of the lift today just to fine-tune it and then do the whole thing tomorrow.

      Delete
    16. They would have done the fine tuning before doing their runthrough, then the actual lift during the runthrough.

    17. BS have yet to break 100-102 in the FD...the real story will be IK and the SD...I think because we have the whole field of SDs - meaning PB, CL, WP, the Shibs, Chock/Bates - it may be a little tougher to just overscore IK in the SD by a ridiculous margin...
I don't think VM should change anything - let the chips fall where they fall..but then again I think we need to remind ourselves not to be frustrated with VM but to be frustrated with the overscoring of DW.....
I am just glad that they got to skate those beautiful programs at the GPF in front of a Japanese crowd...we were all wowed...
On a sidenote - Plushenko pulling out today - such a piece of crap...this guy is not about the sport - it's about him...

    18. Kovtun was waiting until the wee hours of the morning to fly to Sochi if needed.

As far as BS, these judges have shown they can and will do anything as neither the rulebook nor integrity mean a damned thing to them.

    19. ?? has the first lift been changed or not. if someone is going to say that it has, back it up.

    20. Well its then up to the federations, coaches etc to make a stink...But I agree that the judging in all disciplines at the Olympics has been suspect...I mean I enjoy Jason Brown..but really he was generously scored today...

    21. i wont be surprised if brown surpasses javier. poor europe (and canda) always getting the short end of the stick,.

    22. I am the one who asked about the lift on fsu. I was watching the practice stream today and noticed the lift so I asked if anyone knew. Anything about it. I was not sure if they do it like that in practice sometimes or if they were changi A few hours later when I returned to respond to a question and read through the tread it was if the world was falling in. They had what looked like a fantastic practice and it was not meant to stir anything up.

    23. If those fans can find any way to claim - even with no evidence whatsoever - that Zueva has purposefully doomed V/M to failure, they'll do so. It won't matter if V/M change the lift or keep it as is, those fans will claim Zueva is sabotaging them and V/M are too blinded by their love for her to see it. They don't like her, so everything becomes her fault. She's accused of treating V/M "like garbage," even though that's also bullshit. But it doesn't matter, gotta blame somebody we can see!

Does it ever occur to these fans that V/M might still be getting feedback from judges this late in the game? No, probably not. And even if that does occur to them, they'll still blame anything that happens on Zueva. V/M could win the gold medal and if they didn't score high enough, their coach would get the blame. Or it would be argued they won despite her.

The funniest thing about this is, most of these fans in hysterics about Zueva are also the ones who claim they hope V/M are staying in their "bubble" and tuning everything out. Bahaha, okay. Hey V/M, your coach is evil and wants to ruin you! But please don't read our posts saying these things, you stay in that "bubble" of yours! We don't want you to be distracted! Even though she HATES YOU and WANTS YOU TO LOSE and that's why you will. But seriously, don't read this!

    24. I doubt V/M are reading FSU at the Olympics.

  11. A US-based writer picking up on the L'equipe article and actually daring to criticize D/W:

People on the FSU thread about the L'Equipe article have already decided this is just VM supporters creating a scandal. Oh, and that this paper is left-wing conspiracy so *of course* they print lies.

Isn't it great how selective they are. If this kind of paper publishes something they agree with then it's brilliant. But they don't like the ice dance collusion story so naturally it's all lies.

The denials are to be expected, I hope journalists keep going after this story no matter all the strong initial reactions of disbelief.

    2. It would be so helpful if more journalists were able to look at DW's SKATING in an informed manner before weighing in on whether or no this scandal were possible. In what other sport is cheating claimed and nobody looks at the fucking game or the fucking athlete?
