CBC has a relationship with Skate Canada and P.J. Kwong reports for them, so this documentary isn't going to dig Tessa and Scott deeper into the hole or anything. We can expect nothing but finesse, showing characteristic Skate Canada grasp of the big picture and canny foresight.
I look forward to how, when the day arrives, Tessa and Scott unpack the reasons for such a longstanding deception. The explanation will boil down to they had no choice. Nobody can really understand how unique and special their lives are. And, they'll turn it around. It was the only way Tessa and Scott could function having a competitive career and a private life with the same person. They'll incorporate the movie and book: "We felt guilty about not sharing with the public so we created product to share." (Throwing chum to the sharks who otherwise would have devoured them.) I hope they consult William Thompson for the perfect way to get this across as we'll be sure to hear we should consider it a positive they shared anything with us at all. The lies stuffed down our throat - what would we have preferred? No Tessa and Scott at all?
Tessa and Scott will have a dvd of this documentary. I can picture them sharing it some day with their child.
"Was I alive then "Yep!"
"Am I in the movie?"
"..."
"Am I in the movie?"
" No."
"How come I'm not in it?"
"We were pretending you didn't exist."
"Do you pretend I don't exist now?"
" "
"Look sweetheart - Tante Jessica, Oncle Jonathan and Daddy in France in 2012! In the film business that's an intersticial. See, the movie doesn't identify Tantie J but the audience is left to infer.Oncle Johnny is there as what's called a "visual buffer. In years to come, because the scene is so brief and context is ambivalent, it will just look like daddy with a couple of platonic friends, but for the immediate term, people will believe it's daddy's girlfriend."
"Mommy is daddy's girlfriend!"
"Of course mommy is daddy's girlfriend!"
"Does daddy have two girlfriends?"
"No honey, we had a family meeting about this, remember? Tante Jessica was just pretend!"
"Did you wave hello to me in the kiss'n cry?"
"No baby, you were there! We waved to you right there! We say hello to people at home in the Kiss'n Cry. You were there, right there with us."
"Can I see me on television?"
"Nope."
It's perhaps tasteless/tacky whatever to poke fun at this stuff except that Tessa and Scott have opened the door and put their private life on the table even when they share it "under" the table (such as Ryan Semple's bedroom tweet i.d.'d as being from Canton). I'm supposed to believe Scott's shared his romantic life with his friends and family egging us on to notice the photos, Tessa and Scott have shared what we're to understand is information about their lives at home and the dynamics of their relationship. They're behind all of it from the Temple tweets to Fedor to the various fb venues in which Jessica and Scott have appeared. THEY (Tessa/Scott) are behind all of it. One wonders if either will have the balls to come clean on their own or if they'll leave it to Thompson and the rest of SC to tell fans we should kiss their ass they ever made any effort, and be grateful.

oh it's sad, so so sad...I hope the little one gets through it all OK somehow
ReplyDeleteIt's just so....I mean, what would have happened if they'd been honest? They'd be the married couple with a kid...and people would go awww...and what??
"I hope the little one gets through it all OK somehow"
DeleteMe too. I hope they're saving up for therapy for their kid; it's going to need it later on. Either that, or their behavior will rub off and it will grow up thinking it's ok to behave this way...
"It's just so....I mean, what would have happened if they'd been honest? They'd be the married couple with a kid...and people would go awww...and what??"
Exactly. Most people wouldn't have cared all that much. Like you said, people would have gone awww and that would have been the end of it.
When I think about all of this though... I wouldn't be suprised in the least bit if Debbi Wilkes and co. did something to encourage the scam to go on post-2010/Olympics by telling Tessa and Scott that if they didn't keep going that some "crazed fan" would come steal their baby from its crib in the dead of night, like it would be the Lindburgh baby 2.0 or something.
It seemed like during 2009/2010, they were laying the ground work for a reveal, and then boom, nothing. If anything, they backtracked hard. Now, don't get me wrong, Tessa and Scott should have acted like grown-ups and come clean, but I could totally see Deb, et al., taking advantage of new parent fear in order to keep the scam going so they [Deb, et al.] could maintain their own status quo. That is how Wilkes and Crew seems to roll. Tessa and Scott get ready to come clean after the 2010 season wraps up, but then Debbi convinces them that if they do, someone (and by someone, I mean "a fan") will take and/or hurt their baby... The sham evolves from "protecting Tessa and Scott's relationship" to "protecting Tessa and Scott's baby." And everyone justifies keeping it going because they're "protecting the baby." Sadly, by trying to protect the little one in this way, they're just going to hurt it worse down the line once it's old enough to figure all of this out.
"I actually think Tessa and Scott have "shared" more than Gordeeva did in her own book and documentary. So, obviously, they had no choice."
ReplyDeleteA very interesting observation. I remember reading Katia's book and noticing how carefully and tastefully she was sharing some very personal things.
Do you think one of the reasons Scott, Tessa, Jessica, and Co., have given out TMI, and done it so crassly, has been precisely because it's all made up/not real? They aren't personally invested in any of their stories, whether through interviews or facebook photo-storying, so there's no natural barrier of discretion but rather a motive for embellishment. It's just so much crap to screw over the fans. Who cares how ridiculously tasteless it is. If it were really about their real lives, I imagine their tone, and what they chose to "share," would be very different.
Will they pretend to say that their baby doesn't exist also when they'll retire? However it's just a shame. As someone said, he/she will grow up thinking that this kind of things is normal.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous at 4:30 PM - yes, I think they've been crass precisely because it's made up and not real and so there's no natural barrier and a motive for embellishment. The motive for embellishment bears looking at - competent people would understand the dangers of embellishment but people who aren't performing a real function at their jobs and lacking all real world common sense (such as those in some directorships at SC) would make a lot of the importance of doing this type of crap or questions might be raised of exactly why they were needed on the payroll at all. It's interesting, don't you think, that without the motive to protect real privacy (without their own sensibilities to protect, IOW), how there's no instinctive sense of boundaries or elementary respect/decency towards the public when it comes to the sorts of fake stuff the public has to swallow? It's just the public, so they can act on instinct, and it's revealing about the complete absence of any discipline, common sense, decency and taste. When their own self-interest is removed, it's like their default is to behave like arrogant slobs.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the embellishment part, IMO, just goes to how meaningless it all is to the skaters and their families - the more garbage they spew at fans it may feel the stronger and cozier the bubble of privacy.
The downside, obviously not considered, is how disrespectful the entire thing has been to fans. Fans at large aren't considered at all when it comes to this nonsense. They're just an entity to be kept at bay. So why not pull shit like Monaco, for example. Even pretending Jessica were real, it's still mean to tease Tessa/Scott and then say 'oopsie - it's Jessica in Monaco!' In both contexts - a fake one or real one - it's an asshole thing to do - particularly when nothing was shared from the Olympics or Worlds - the skating life - but they were showing an eagerness to advertise Monaco and their "private" vacation afterwards.
We, fans, have been the recipients of a lot of obvious mockery and a lot of them showing off exactly what is thought of fan interest in these two. It's very unprofessional to wear disdain and superiority on your sleeve and it's default - they have to work to hide it. They don't even think about it. From everything with Jessica. to Scott soliciting 'advise" on his fan page profile picture, to that ridiculous and insulting Ryan Semple, Tessa/Kate/Moir family photo call at Skate Canada ("What? It's the fans who make assumptions - we never said anything! Fans are just predictable!") - it's revealing about their high opinion of their own cleverness and the opinion of fan stupidity, and their enjoyment of capitalizing on what they think is the latter.
I'm sure they think their kid is their own business but the fact is they are marketing themselves as personalities as well as skaters. They've marketed a false version of their relationship, using real elements to sell the lies and manipulations, so they've basically invited fans to invest in them and people are going to have an opinion of a man who would pose in these unnecessary photos with Jessica and imply what's been implied about that relationship while there's a kid in the picture or even while there's a kid planned. And IMO, that opinion is going to be correct.
"And of course the embellishment part, IMO, just goes to how meaningless it all is to the skaters and their families - the more garbage they spew at fans it may feel the stronger and cozier the bubble of privacy."
Delete"and people are going to have an opinion of a man who would pose in these unnecessary photos with Jessica and imply what's been implied"
Since this blog made an appearance, it looks like they've tried to scale back, mostly by "hiding" Jessica's facebook page - the source of most of the OTT garbage. But surely, after the specific implications they allowed - that Scott is sleeping with Jessica, that they together have been assholes toward Bryce, and that they're a couple with no boundaries of professionalism or class when it comes to sharing their private couple-life, and that Tessa is sleeping with Fedor/Ryan - they aren't under the delusion that now all of a sudden they're being "classy" in how and what they share?
Do these people not realize that all that previous lack of class is now automatically ascribed to anything they put out re. Scott/Jessica or Tessa/any SO? Try as they might, any photo in the vicinity of a beach will be seen through the lens of their Punta Cana "honeymoon photo shoot." Any wall post that leaks out is seen in the context of Jessica's gleeful sharing with the public about her "amoreux." Anything Carol and Alma post on Scott's wall is also seen in the context of what they've done before (Monaco, Paris, Christmas, etc.)
Too late for class, guys. Let's see what you have planned during Worlds. Now that we know Jessica and her brother Jonathan celebrated that they would be in Nice, we know to be looking for your latest installment of garbage that you want to feed the fans - and like the blogger says, we do indeed have an opinion, and it's not favorable.
"if they didn't keep going that some "crazed fan" would come steal their baby from its crib in the dead of night, like it would be the Lindburgh baby 2.0 or something."
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think also of Michael Jackson's poor kids, being forced to wear masks and being hidden away until after he died. Ugh.
What is Ryan Semple's bedroom tweet from Canton?
Right after appearing at Skate Canada seated next to Tessa Virtue in one of the more recent egregious pieces of sham bullshit, Semple tweets his "Movember" progress from bed and, unlike in his prior tweets, his location is noted. "Canton, MI".
ReplyDeleteNo coincidence that SkateCanada "follows" Semple on twitter.
DeleteHe (Semple) did them a big favor, contributing to the V/M narrative.
DeleteCould SC and V/M be any luckier, finding a girl like Jessica who's been so very willing to be their go-to GF all these years? Publicly, she's been more than willing to ditch her own life and be on call for Tessa and Scott's privacy bubble. What a moron of a girl. At least neither Fedor or Semple ever gave an impression of revolving their facebooks or their lives around Tessa the way Jessica gives the impression of revolving hers around Scott/the Moirs.
Well, Jessica is part of Skate Canada and it certainly pays off to cooperate. The amount of Scott-centric stuff on her facebook isn't on Jessica, it's on VM/SC. Believe me, if she acted on her own against their instructions she'd be set to rights very quickly. If you find her fb distasteful, you can thank Tessa/Scott and their team.
DeleteIt may be on V/M that Jessica's facebook is so distasteful, but that's just it about her - what person in their right mind lets herself be used this way? And for so many years? She can't be 'all there,' if you catch my drift.
DeleteThere, you have a point. But remember, she's used, but there's also quid pro quo.
DeleteI wonder if they'll just communicate to TessScott Jr. that the entire thing is simply very fun and funny and doesn't count, because it was directed at silly people who don't count.
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrible attitude to pass on to your child: that the fans who make your public career possible are silly-don't count, and we are entitled (as a family) to be pricks.
DeleteYou know how shit rolls down hill. Look at Thompson, his tone, his attitude. Everyone's gotten the message.
DeleteIt just amazes me that the star figure skaters in SC fall in line and can't independently perceive that the mindset at the top is distasteful and also stupid. It's like everybody's a robot.
Who does this kid remind you of?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaOIIwmVbzw
well for one thing, that "kid" is 14 years old - i was expecting a video of no older then, like, what? 2-4
Deleteif they had this teen, Tessa would have been like 8 years old when she conceived... :S so me thinks not.
and that boy doesn't look anything like either of them if they had a kid together...which is a little hard to swallow all in itself. I personally think she just ate alot of lindor chocolate and gained an extra 15-20. She has said how much she loves chocolate and those little eggs for easter are sooo small and yummy its easy to eat 20 in a day where you're not doing anything. (i'm "picking" on lindor eggs cuz i myself put on about 15-20 lbs 2 years ago after my boyfriend bought a crazy amount for me when they went on sale the next day, i'm talkin 30 big bags of the mini eggs people as well as the rabbits of all sizes lol i was a piggy and it showed 2 months later...)
There is no secret child. Why is there the willingness to believe this when absolutely no proof has been bought forward? And please, no more "is she or isn't she" pictures which do not prove anything. I, for one, am not so gullible to believe baseless ramblings where no evidence is provided. If a baby is produced, I will happily eat crow. Until then, I require more evidence to believe these elaborate conspiracy theories.
ReplyDeleteAny other requests? No more this, a little more that?
DeleteI will never understand comments like this.
Why is anyone bothered what other people believe. If you don't understand how people can believe x y or z, c'est la vie.
It's of no mind if anyone in particular eats crow or if they won't believe until their requirements are fulfilled. What does this blog have to do with any one person's requirements?
New VM quote: "we're in our own little bubble - no one can touch us."
ReplyDeleteWell isn't that how it usually is towards the public? It's also interesting to know that these totally platonic friends enjoy being in a bubble together so much.
Amazing how many other figure skaters can function in the real world AND the figure skating world, but these two require a bubble. Why? What is so toxic about the real world? I've said this before but Michael J. Fox wrote about how his success allowed him to live in a bubble with his family for years until in his 30s a therapist insisted he engage outside the bubble because the bubble wasn't helping him deal with Parkinsons. The bubble isn't real life. What is so fragile about these two that it's vulnerable outside a bubble? Who raised them to be hothouse flowers?
DeleteYou learn to cope by exposure to something. That's how grown-ups do it, even grown-up athletes. That's how you get experience. You don't learn to manage real world distractions by isolation from them.
DeleteFrom Scott's quotes in that article, he doesn't require a bubble. He's merely shifting his focus from winning to focusing on enjoying the skate. That sounds healthy to me.
DeleteThe bubble quote was from Tessa. The whole thing is
"We're back [to where] we were the Olympic year: In our little bubble -- in our place -- and nothing can touch us," Virtue said. "It's just the two of us in a place of positive energy and trusting our training."
From various quotes during the years, it sounds like this is what Tessa loves about skating the most: being alone with Scott in some fantasy world of dance and music. It's romantic in one sense, but downright scary in another. When you see the extent to which she takes it, it's completely unhealthy.
Yeah, the seven people on the cell phone story is a little unsettling. I get it, but it's not the best way to become comfortable in public life. There are healthier, more functional ways. She's an adult. I know compartment syndrome impacted somebody as proud as she is - going out there and wondering if people thought she wasn't as good as Scott. I guess if you're that worried about what people think it's anxiety-producing, but I also don't think the answer is to hide. Maybe the answer is to not care what people think. Is a bubble needed for that, really? How about just not caring, whether what they think comes to your attention or not? If you really do trust yourself, your partner and your work, things will automatically be tuned out - it'll be noise. Self-isolation isn't how it's done in the real world. This is something a lot of people need to do for their jobs. VM - or maybe Tessa - often speak as if the need is unique to them. It's not.
DeleteCrap and I deleted both my answer and a comeback again.
ReplyDeleteAnon 11:43 a.m. said the blog is proferring truth based on crackpot theories and speculation and I'm being challenged to provide proof, as this commentator believes I've called on VM to come clean.
First of all, the blog isn't based on speculation but fact. Scott and Tessa are together. The relationship with Jessica is fake. I know this.
Now from time to time a comment will be posted demanding that I provide proof HOW I know, or alas, the person making the comment will not believe me.
As compelling a threat as that is, and as heartbreaking as this is for me to ponder, I can live with not being believed.
Seriously, where do some posters get their vanity? I don't believe you, sorry!
Don't be sorry, I don't give a shit! It's a free country!

DeleteHelpful reference for future comments.
Per the immortal words of George Costanza, "[Blog readers], just remember, it's not a lie if [oc] believe[s] it."
ReplyDeleteI suppose that quote could apply to Tessa and Scott as well....
DeleteI guess that all depends on whether you believe VM are lying or not. I personally do not think that they are. Others, obviously, disagree. Vehemently.
DeleteMe personally, I think it would be fantastic if they were in a secret relationship. I was willing to believe it until the secret marriage and secret baby and Skate Canada conspiracy theories were also spouted. Hence, I don't feel the credibility is there. But that's just me.
I don't find it offensive if they are hiding it. I understand it actually given that there are blogs like this slagging them all over the internet. Who wants this kind of intrusion into their lives? The argument is that VM heaped this exposure onto themselves by having a book and participating in a documentary (which I have yet to see, so I can't really talk about that yet). The celebrity argument isn't that compelling to me - that because you're a "celebrity", this entitles the "fans" to know everything about you. I don't buy that.
Where are the other blogs like this slagging them all over the internet?
DeleteThe most overdone, aggressive part of the sham went on long before this blog existed. Monaco, Christmas, Menage a Trois, staging Jessica front and center with family at the Olympics, Skate Canada, Nationals, the "hug" in the Kiss'N'Cry in Vancouver, the Dominican photo shoot and kiss photos, Jessica in the buggy next to Alma at the Ilderton gold medal celebration, countless wall posts and public wall albums, the book bragging that the public would be buying "never before revealed" information when they were being sold a complete lie - i.e., that Tessa and Scott were apart and not speaking during her recovery from her first surgery when the reality was they were living together in London. Who were they hiding from then? What internet force, what fan slagging?
ReplyDeleteWhen the facebooks were open Jessica's facebook was full of routine sham spam, so was Alma's, so were the fbs of friends and family. Nothing prompted the overt mockery and meanspirited manner in which is was done. That's all on them.
The internet slagging was a reaction to the sham, not the cause of it, and even there, the slagging is only here, one blog.
Do VM currently live together? Don't people see them coming and going together? What about Tessa's mom, does she live there too?
ReplyDeleteOT, who is Meryl dating?
Of course they live together.
DeleteRemember how many people know they're together, including not a few fans, particularly in London. They don't hide HIDE - the whole thing is directed at fans at large. They don't want to be answerable to the media, either, about real things and real choices, and as long as they don't admit it on the record it's off the record.
My question is that as the much of the regular figure skating media does know they're together, are they going to continue to help VM sell the lie, or are they going to use the work around, which is to quote VM on their status (i.e., "They have always denied being a couple." "They say they're best friends but not a couple.") versus writing about it as objective information. I'm especially interested in what Rosie DiManno does. She's often played fast and loose with what a public figure says and what's a fact. I'm pretty sure these days she knows VM's real status, so let's see if she starts making distinctions or continues to be Skate Canada's stooge.
There are fans on all the message boards that know, who knew before the blog. Fans at London Nationals in 2010 talked. A lot of fans have screen names and just don't want to get into it. We know how many people don't want conflict on the web.
PJ Kwong would be "in the know", wouldn't she? I thought her interview with them after Nationals was particularly interesting.
DeleteOf course she knows. I've wondered if Scott and Tessa wanted to be asked what she asked them. I certainly didn't see PJ's twitter barraged with tweets about how romantic FF is, which was her pretext for asking them their definition of romance.
Deleteinteresting :http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/FigureSkating/2012/03/27/19556221.html
DeleteRe: the PJ interview, I think Tessa did. Remember how Scott says looks over at PJ and says "You told her, didn't you" or some such. I took that to mean that Tessa knew that was the question that would be asked, and so she had the answer ready.
Delete"There aren't very many people out there, including my girlfriend, that understand me as well as Tessa does."
ReplyDeleteUh, is he saying that Jess doesn't understand him as well as Tessa does? SHOCKING!!!
The article sounds like a mash-up of current and recycled quotes to me. The "girlfriend" would be beyond tacky at this point if current, but it sounds old.
DeleteTessa & Scott have known each other since they were kids. It MUST be hard for Jessica to understand... But, she does. I'm so happy that Scott is happy with Jessica. She is such a nice girl and Scott deserves so. I think Scott wanted Tessa for the longest time but she rejeccted him so he moved on... I'm glad he found Jess.Tessa and Scott just never seemed to match for me personally.
ReplyDeleteBy the way. I think from seeing the video that Scott was doing more than just tickeling Tessa. I think he was trying to undo her bra. Just another show though... He really loves Jessica.
DeleteScott is really sooo much in love with Jessica( It is definately NO ACT. Scott and Jessica just suit each othere. They are both just such a ddown to eath couple. Tessa and Scott are totally opposites. She is a High-Class Girrl, and Scott is sooo not. Tessa comes off as too pretentious, and scott is just a regular guy, that is why he picked Jess over Tess... Does anoyone else agree wit me? Tessa thinks she is too good for Scott, but sorry to say that Scott is soooo much the better skater....
DeleteScott is way too a better ise-dancer than tessa I know that i will get a lout of feedback from thim statement, but Sccott ccould have so many more championships under his belts with Teaa it is unreal. Everyone that really watchs them can tell that Scott is just on a higher lever than she is. SHE IS TOTALLLY HOLDING THEM BACK. I LOVES TEASSA AND ALL, bheres Sintures have really hust their career. Scott schould have dumped her and coul have been was much moore. I hope Tessa realizes this and desn't det a big head, becaue alll the THRUE FANS know. Scott has carried these team forr befinning to finish. I hope she realized that. She would be NOTHING withoutt Scott, and lll the fans know it. Scott is the best male ice-dancer in tthe world. Tessa is just so so. I hope Scott piuts it in her after she gets a full head that, they have accoumplished everytingg becasue of him. \tesssa awould be a nobody without Sott. I hope she realizes that. I see in a few of the interviews that she definately doesn't givee Sccott thee credit where he is do. That tells you something. Tess pretends to be right meeke and mild, but trust me, sh is an animal out on the ice, and she is jealous of Sott. He is the best male skater there is tody. Tessa shouls give way more credit due to Scott than she every does//// POOOR SCOTTT
DeleteOkay, take it easy.
Deletewhy was my comment removed from above? Oh can we not right the truth now? Or are only LIES acceptable on this blog.
DeleteSeveral of my comments have also been deleted. Truth is a novel concept. Only lies, dear anon, can exist here.
Deleteanon 9:07 after reading your question I went to the spam folder and found numerous versions of the same comment. I un-spammed the most recent.
DeleteThat said, in reference to the unspammed comment, are you really treating the Scott is better than Tessa stuff posted here seriously?
FYI - unless by accident I don't delete comments. They're kept, live or not live. :)
Sorry oycanada, I can't believe that you haven't deleted comments only by accident. Four of my comments have been deleted from this thread alone. I guess that's a lot of "accidents".
Deletea) why are you apologizing? I'm not offended.
Deleteb) Except by accident, comments aren't deleted. As I said, unless something is deleted by accident, I don't delete comments. I like to keep what's posted. I still have all your comments.
Reply to you oycanada: I posted several times because I wasn't seeing my comment in the thread once I posted, but realizing now that it was a spam glitch rather than you deleting it: My apologies for the misunderstanding. As to treating what people say about Scott and/or Tessa seriously, who knows with this blog?! I am baffled by some of the things that are written, and don't know whether to take it very seriously or find it completely preposterous. So maybe you'd be able to answer that question better than I ever could seeing as you run this blog (or should I be directing this to someone else)? That being said, yes, I did take it seriously. Obviously, there are people here who are so hateful that they have nothing better to do than write malicious things behind the safety of their computers. I'd like to see them try to dance and skate on 2 blades.
DeleteThank you for not deleting my comments. In the end, I do appreciate that you keep this an open forum.
I should have said that *I* didn't take them seriously, or *I* don't believe they're serious, instead of saying "You didn't take them seriously, did you?" because, as you point out, who the hell knows? It's not up to me to tell someone how to react to something. You're right about that.
DeleteAs to what I write on the blog, some of it is tongue-in-cheek of course. The premise though (that Scott Tessa are lying about not being together, and Jessica being a scam), is on the level.
P.S., you're not the first person whose posts end up in spam for some reason and who post a few times before giving up after the comment isn't published. I don't always remember to check spam unless I'm reminded. What I usually do then is "un-spam" the most recent of what someone was trying to post - when I re-type something that's "lost" or didn't go through it's not always word for word either.
DeleteAlma's there with a baby...it would be kinda weird to take a niece...unless the whole family is there....I'm thinking TessScott Jr. is a girl!!
ReplyDeletecontinued...it was only on screen for a few seconds...mmm in my excitement....I actually think the kid might have been too little....
ReplyDeletePer FSU, Danny Moir and his wife are there. They recently had a baby girl.
ReplyDeleteGood grief. Scott and Tessa putting Marina between them again in the Kiss&Cry? What are they, teenagers?
ReplyDeleteSeems to me Scott is extremely intent on sending out the message that he has a gf, and it's not that Tessa partner, no sir, she must be avoided. Can't be sitting too close to that person I dance with. Ewww.
Good try, you guys. You shouldn't bother, it's not working and it just makes you look ridiculous.
*rolleyes*
Good grief. I think you're reading too much into that. I've seen Marina sit in between them before.
DeleteSome of the bullshit that's written here is absurd, starting with the statement above by anonymous. Ridiculous to think that Scott is better than her. I think they are equally great. Let's remember that Tessa had been the dancer, long before Scott incorporated dancing into his life. And he even admitted as a teenager that in order to become as good as Tessa he had to give up hockey and work at the dancing. So please stop with these ridiculous comments. So did Tessa hold him back to getting Olympic gold, or a World Championship and several silver and broze medals at the World Championships, or 4CC championships, and Canadian Championships. PLease. it's one thing to question their "relationship" off ice, it's another thing entirely--RIDICULOUS EVEN--to question their on-ice relationship....meaning their should be no question about it. Even a Eurosport commentator has stated at these World Championships (Nice, France) that they are simply the best ice dancers he's ever seen. AND HE WAS REFERRING TO BOTH. So get over yourself, and while you're at it LEARN TO WRITE GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT IN ENGLISH FIRST BEFORE YOU INSULT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSome of the bullshit that's written here is absurd, starting with the statement above by anonymous. ReplyDeletewhy was my comment removed from above? Oh can we not right the truth now? Or are only LIES acceptable on this blog.
...you're getting weird...
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is where the heck is the rest of Tessa's family? Per all reports, Kate Virtue is the lone family member appearing at competitions this season. A bus load of Moirs make the trip to France but Tessa's family is MIA.
ReplyDeleteWho do you think is taking care of the baby? Or do you think the baby can magically take care of itself?
DeleteSomeone on the other post said Tessa's sister was there.
DeleteWell at least Mr. Semple has sent out his congrats via Twitter after their World's win...so Tessa's support system is there (insert sarcasm...)...but on a lighter note - happy for V/M's win - tough season psychologically nut they put out 2 solid skates at Worlds...
ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy Mr Semple is. Barf.
DeleteIn fairness, he congratulated them both. Also, I imagine he is at least friends with both of them or he wouldn't have been the equivalent of a HOV mannequin for them in the stands at Skate Canada.
DeleteI agree - Semple's congratulations' twitter was all that was proper for a friend of both Scott and Tessa.
DeleteIt was nothing like that icky bedroom-twitter he posted after Skate Canada, which when I think about it, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Mr. Moir himself set up that twitter - seeing as how he has so much experience setting up revolting photo poses and implications.
OMG, I just stumbled upon this site accidently....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! This is the ultimate in absurdity!!!! Oycanada, you need medication. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
