I choose to take the original reaction as a comment on the sort of promotion we're accustomed to seeing from Skate Canada. IOW - it's not a given it's a joke! They could do something like this!
^ correct. For example, the promotional or skatebuzz videos they release could be done better - MUCH better - by my cousins in middle school. It was a slam on how pathetic SC's PR is and a compliment to OC's skills in satire and parody.
