You can overdo the auto filter

Cass Brook's 'album cover' reminded me so much of Celine Dion publicity stills and cover art, I went to see if the similarities carried over to other Cassandra/Celine photos.

By "reminded" I don't mean to insult the professionals who create Celine Dion's stuff, but just that in these photos, the women resemble each other. The set of the mouth, pumping up the hair and wearing it like a curtain, accessory, femininity signifier, and then boosting the glow and softening stuff up, and the angles.

I think in all these shots Celine is older than 23. She was in the same Hello magazine edition that recognized Jessica Dube, she's got a great long legged well proportioned skinny body and big eyes, but at the same time, even if she'd been this polished at 23 I don't know if she'd be everyone's first choice for commercial, glamor, fashion or other type of modeling.

If you're 23 and dialing up the filter this hard people tend to wonder what's behind all the hair and blown out lighting. There's photoshop, which is used on almost everything, and there's this.

So I think the photos are on the wrong track, but who knows.

She needs a portfolio for sure. The model mayhem site that Cassandra has recently joined requires 4 photos from anyone who requests membership. Cassandra uploaded five, including this

selfie, which I can't even. I assumed she likes how it's rotated because that's how it's living on the site. The other four are from what appears to be a professional or semi-professional shoot.

So I don't think she's done any modeling she hasn't paid for herself.* And since we've already seen these photos from her on social media months ago and she didn't have any new ones to represent herself with on Model Mayhem, I think Tessa probably owes her a photo session upgrade with someone who can keep their mouse clicker off lens flare, rather than leaving Cassandra to hustle herself with strangers (I actually have a lightbulb moment further down about this).

She has to get a little help here; Virtue Moir need to be more pro-active, like they and SC were with Jessica. Think of the thousands Virtue Moir saved in air travel last season.

Cassandra was "revealed" as Scott's new honey in m'ovember and she joined Model Mayem in April, so I think anyone who thought she took the sham gig hoping it would be a transition out of dental hygiene-ing and into something more gratifying nailed it.

If you sign up for that purpose (exposure) but it works out to be a now you see it now you don't instagram and twitter situation, and you're way more under the radar than your predecessor, your ambitions might be thwarted. A whole season went by and she's got the same "portfolio" she started with.

There's a comments section on Model Mayhem where members can remark on photos so just FYI Moirville, get somebody in there to exclaim "you and Scott should do a shoot together!" or "great seeing you and Scott in Florida!" There's not much cross-pollination there with skating but we all know fans find stuff. They found this.

(Oh wait a minute - she joined in April. Maybe they're already working this and that's the entire reason she's there. We've got it backwards. People here were all 'she wants to be a model" and it gave Moirville the idea to have Cassandra work a minor but public site like MM (the way the m'ovember page was minor and off the beaten track, but easily found).

That could be why she's using the same photos all the fans have already seen and not bothered with better shots - so they'll recognize her immediately. It's a set up, and then someone will start commenting, mentioning Scott, or she'll put photos there, with comments like "Scott took this!"

What are the odds on that one? The moderators on Model Mayhem are described as absentee Nazis but there's no comment guidelines I've read or rules about leaving links.)

23 is young but it's mature to have only these types of photos representing your nascent modeling career, even if you only aspire locally.

So what was it, a Cinderella complex? Become a dental hygienist, keep investing in good hair conditioner, do the bar circuit and hope somebody great marries you or somebody is struck by your qualifications and offers you modeling opportunities or wants to take your picture? It just seems like a long time to be hanging around aspiring without proactively doing. Maybe she likes short-cuts and thought one would come along sooner than (she hopes) it did.

*Although there's a link to a "portfolio" on her profile page. However, what can be in the portfolio considering the photos she's using as a calling card to look for work and "build" her portfolio. It comes off as if she wants to build "a" portfolio versus one that already exists.

And it could be a placeholder profile page for future backdoor shamming.

Who knows. But Moirville does love the backdoor shamming and they apparently think they're very clever with it, so I wouldn't put it past them.
    It's certainly worth watching.

  3. After reading the reviews' link you provided I'm wondering if Moirville put up the money for Cassandra to join....for that backdoor shamming you talked about.

This does not sound like the kind of site someone would join if they had a true, professional interest in modeling. It does sound like a place Moirville would stick the fake girlfriend just for that fun they all get from watching the fans "accidentally" stumble upon some Scott-girlfriend shenanigans.

    I'm liking your theory.

Better and better - just join for the free part and try to work it to benefit the sham.

I agree, it's mighty suspicious the photos have been around for months and she doesn't seem interested in building that portfolio.

She did officially nix nude pictures but reading through the FAQ section it sounds like many aspiring models list "no nudity" to cut down on attracting the creepy photographers, but once in a session where they feel comfortable they will do nude/semi-nude shots.

  4. I don't mean to be negative, but Cass has such a high forehead that she couldn't possibly be a model. She is pretty, unlike Tessa ( surgery) She is weird looking. Scott is not too good looking himself. He has a huge nose and his chest is deformed. All other male athletes have formed chest plates. Scott doesn't

    1. Each to their own I guess, but I think Tessa is very pretty and was even so before the nose job. Scott is also very good looking, IMO, including (definitely including) his chest.

    2. Quite a few of us happen to find Scott very good looking and I'd be willing to bet that the one person whose opinion does matter to him (Tessa) does as well.

Tessa is gorgeous, pre and post-nose refinement.

As for Cassandra's looks, high fashion models aren't usually conventionally gorgeous but she seems to be aiming for glamour. The proportions of her face are somewhat off but with the right photographer and lighting, she probably could pass.

      Delete
    3. High fashion modeling has very specific requirements - glamour modeling is a whole different deal - if a girl is attractive and has a reasonably proportioned, slim, fit body and is willing to do the work (which is often semi-nude, which Cassandra nixes, or lingerie/erotic stuff) - it's easier to get in but the market is as crowded as it gets.

But the more I look at this the more it seems like a component of future sham. Photos that have sat on her facebook and twitter for months, plus a selfie. That says a lot more "Look guys, it's Cassandra Hilborn, Scott's gf from facebook!" than "I want to build my portfolio".

      Delete
    4. "But the more I look at this the more it seems like a component of future sham."

Could be for future sham purposes. Wasn't it reported there were facebook comments (going back pre-sham) telling her she deserved to be out there in the big time, or some such?

It could also be since becoming more visible - if she thinks the small number of VM fans who care equals becoming more visible - she's been getting many more comments about her looks and how she deserves to exploit them. The circle of friends who are invested in helping Scott in his shamming do lay it on thick with the cutesy posts, extolling the pretty, cute, beautiful, etc etc (they also did that with Jessica). Could be that Cassandra's been buying into the hype and decided to try this out and see what happens. Although I suppose if the whole experiment can also be used for shamming, well why not kill two birds with one stone.

    6. 1:40 - I date checked the photos where Cassandra's friends are all "prettiest girl in the world right there" and "what are you doing in London - go out and be a star" - and they're all within sham timelines - this past season.

So yes, it could be a set up. Plant the idea - over and over - that she seems to be looking to model. They always like to come in through the back door - maybe they think their hands look cleaner that way.

It's a little hinky that she pops up, with these same tired photos and a ridiculous selfie, on a low-rent, free, model-wannabe website, one that allows comments and where the moderators are negligent, in April. Just a jump in advance of training break. All this time and she couldn't shell out a little money for new photos?

That's the other thing. The Hilborns have money. Mom is supportive of Cassandra. The photos Cassandra has are silly. Why does she need to be on model mayhem trying to hook up with photographers, most of whom are wannabes themselves, to build a portfolio. I'm sure London has plenty of photographers, so does Florida. She can't afford to book time with a couple of different professional photographers in order to at least start off with more of a book than she's got?

      This is fishy.

      Delete
    7. OC 6:36

Hmmmm - so is it possible her personal information (height, measurements) is also fishy?

This set up has turned out to be extremely intriguing. Either she could suddenly produce more photos (beach, anyone? "taken by Scott" as was suggested in an earlier comment?) or there could be the flood of comments that mention Scott.

      Delete
    8. Yes, her personal stats could be fudged - most models do fudge them, even the high profile ones.

      Delete
    9. Depending on the chart, BMI puts that combo either underweight or on the border. I suppose that's the norm for modeling I suppose. But OyCanada has wondered before about her height - if she's really 5'7 she's the same height as Scott, and there's evidence to the contrary. Did they put it at 5'7 so those photos with him didn't seem fishy? lol

      Delete
    10. @ 4:54

Different places give different heights for Scott, I'm not sure we know for sure how tall he is. And some sites haven't changed their numbers in years, so they're unreliable. Recently I even saw one that still listed Tessa as 5'3" and we know that's wrong.

But I'm sure he's not shorter than 5'8" and possibly close to 5'9". Tessa is 5'5" and I think Scott looks quite a bit taller than 5'7" next to her height (off-ice, when she's in flats). I've also noticed when he stands next to guys who are supposedly 5'8" or a little taller he's at about the same level. If he was 5'7" he would be much closer to Patrick Chan in height and he's definitely quite a bit taller than Patrick.

  5. Where would they find somebody with good judgment, good taste, a reasonable degree of sensitivity and a sense of responsibility that extends past their immediate circle or immediate self-interest who would still be willing to do this? Anyone cut from a different mold than Cassandra or Jessica wouldn't want to do it in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  6. If Cass really wants to be a model, this is just sad and lazy. There are too many options where up-and-coming models will pose for up-and-coming photographers in return for photos. You don't even need money. If she did need money, her parents and Moirville have it. There's no excuse for selfies.

    2. I think it's lazy shit because I think the whole thing is a set up. These photos popped up during her first Year of Sham. The remarks in the comments section were also from friends during the first year of Sham. We know the role friends' comments always play in all of this.

She's 23, she's not 14. 14 year olds post selfies. She's not serious with this.

Yes, Model Mayhem is used mostly for aspiring models to connect with aspiring photographers to build that portfolio. That is, we're to presume, why she's there. It's so lowest-common-denominator the models especially have to be careful as a lot of the photographers are just guys on the make with a DSLR. We could also wank that the selfie is just giving up-and-coming photographers a sense of the raw material.

So when her Model Mayhem profile was first brought to the blog's attention, it was easy to at first figure it was what it looked like - she signed up for the sham hoping to be discovered. That for some time now, she's been antsy to capitalize on what she believes are marketable looks and has been told by family and friends she's got the stuff.

She'd expected/hoped to have been "discovered" by now. Signing up for Model Mayhem is maybe something of an admission that the sham hadn't created the opportunities she'd hoped would come her way.

Then you think about it some more.

The timing of her joining. April (the month before training break).

The fact that the photos she uploaded were the same ones she'd made public on social media for the benefit of fans since last fall (the beginning of the sham). The selfie just drives it home - this is Cassandra HILBORN.

The fact that her profile and the photos on Model Mayhem are, of course, public. No need to be a member to view it or the comments below.

The fact that these photos are amateur and lazy as shit, and that she could afford to get better ones done, and also make photographer connections in London.

Instead of dong that, Scott Moir's sham girlfriend starts marketing herself on a public job/professional hook-up site and it has nothing to do with the sham? Moirville is down with this? Moirville isn't IN on this?

The selfie - yes, I think fans would readily believe her ego is big enough to think that selfie would impress, and I think it's just as likely they're trying to work us with that. I think Model Mayhem is just another back door sham portal.

Side issue: Most of the would-be photographers there aren't going to know this is the girl who presents herself as Scott Moir's girlfriend, and most of the would-be photographers there probably, I'm guessing, have no idea who Scott Moir is. But if any of them did realize it, I could see them wanting to photograph her so they could add her to their portfolio and tout her as their photos of "Scott Moir's girlfriend" and smarm how Scott Moir is a lucky guy and all of that, particularly as most of the photographers want to do "glamour" modeling.

It'll be interesting if any photographer does make that connection and make "Scott's a lucky guy - would love to shoot you!" type remarks beneath her photos because I'm not sure that's a direction in which Moirville would want to go.

      Delete
    3. Does Moirville care which direction their messages are going? From the beginning they were eager to put out the message: This is who Scott is banging!! You can hardly get more lowest common denominator.

I think they're all ***holes. They really don't care about showing respect toward Scott and Tessa's relationship nor any other status most people hold dear. It's about conveying the message Scott and Tessa are not a couple. For weird reasons of their own, that is supreme and all else is expedient. They don't have any concept of a big picture, one that includes a future. Hello?
      *rolleyes*

      Delete
    4. The other part is that suppose this is why she's on Model Mayhem (a sham portal) and suppose it hadn't occurred to anyone, and everyone had just figured it was Cassandra trying to be a model.

So IOW, what if Moirville had succeeded in pushing some sham in through that back door, getting the jump on everyone.

      A win!

But what the fuck would they have won? What is the freaking POINT at this point? Why do they want to do it? What damage was done last summer when - OMG - for three months he had no "gf" and there were no sham pics on training break. They did make a big deal over Tessa supposedly not being at the Langlois/Hay wedding, but all Moirville is accomplishing at this point is proving they're engaged in a war of spite with the segments of the public that know this is a sham and say so, and they all can't stop trying to live Scott and Tessa's lives with them, and if it means making up jobs to do, they'll do it.

What else? What is accomplished by looking for sneaky little ways or tricks to get something out there? What, in terms of the supposed legitimate reasons they sham (privacy)?

      Absolutely nothing.

    1. I think we've seen most of the skaters in their swimwear on social media and Cassandra fits right in.

When I think about it, it's really funny that after all of the photos of Scott and Jessica from the Dominican and Mexico, when Tessa posed in HER bikini with Semple and that other guy (leaning more on the other guy) we saw her basically from the chest up. When we did see her full-length on the boat, she was covered up.

It's okay for the world to see Scott's girlfriends - and Scott, for that matter, head to toe in their swimwear. But not Tessa. Maybe Scott recoils at the idea of the internet checking her out.

      Delete
    2. Well who knows whether Cassandra Hilborn is that serious about modeling. But the fact that she joined the modelmayhem website after worlds is interesting. I think the storyline that Moirville wants to set-up is that Cassandra Hilborn is just not a dental hygienist..she has the potential of being a model...and that she is definitely a catch...in terms of status...Jessica Dube was a figure skater - even though we know she never really reached her potential for reasons that we have indicated before..it's not enough for Hilborn to just be the girl next door...my two cents...

      Delete
    3. I don't know if status enters into it. Model Mayhem is a self-designated site - the girls themselves decide they have the potential to model - they're not validated by anyone else.

Model Mayhem is for any wannabe. If anything it makes Cassandra's ambitions look pretty threadbare - hi, I'm 23 and my portfolio is 4 lens-flared, heavily auto-filtered hack jobs and a selfie. That's pathetic. You can find that on practically half the facebooks in her age bracket out there.

If Moirville is at all status conscious than they know that model-wise, that web page confers no status. It's the opposite. That and the fact that it would be very out of character for Scott's sham girlfriend to deliberately start marketing herself on a public web page - a page where the profile is all about the photos - points to this being sham.

      Delete
    4. The only alternative I can think of for trying to position her as a model is most people thought Tessa buried Jessica in attractiveness department. Many fans seemed to feel that there was no way he could seriously be into Jessica with Tessa there almost 24/7 - he had to be in love with her.

So they may be trying to force the issue by pushing Cassandra as a model beauty on the same "level" as Tessa or even better - but eh eh eh. They are wasting their energy. All of this isn't about shamming anymore and hasn't been for years. It's about winning.

    This.

It's actually funny to imagine them gloating over some win. Yay!!

    Yeah, and then what?

None of their "wins" (if they get any) will last more than a day anymore. Fans are no longer suckers and thank goodness for places like this blog - and lots of private conversations lots of other places - we can deconstruct their stupid little schemes and prove they cannot hold up under scrutiny.

Yeah, I'd like to know what they think they're winning when the fandom is mostly either laughing at them or disgusted with their efforts? But it does keep Moirville occupied. Yay for them.

So are Scott and Tessa. I have never ever seen a duo that claim on the one hand not to care about anyone else but on the other be so completely obsessed with what people think of them they freak out about what they're THINKING and aim to control their thoughts. 5. I don't know - there have been many times when it seems to me as if Scott is just as obsessed with getting the jump on other people - mostly on video and occasionally in interviews, but he'll display that characteristic he disliked in his middle school year book "People who think they are smart." I took that to mean "People who think they are SO smart" or "People who think they're smarter than everyone else" - and he does show the habits when it comes to the media. He behaves as if he has media and fans read, and then tells us that.

Also, with him, fans are ALWAYS wrong. Always. Not just about him and Tessa. About everything. We always have the wrong idea. Always.

Once in his entire life he allowed that fans were correct, and that's when he mentioned that the public could tell he and Tessa weren't 100% at home with the original version of last season's short dance. I about died.

So many of his interviews have a running sideline about how everybody has the wrong idea, wrong assumptions, wrong conclusions, wrong predictions, wrong expectations, wrong everything soup to nuts. He always wants to be on top that way. He can't just leave it alone and let people think what they think. This obsession is just as much his in that way.

      Delete
    6. "Boy this girl is certainly obsessed with what people think of Scott and Tessa."

She sure "knows" a whole lot for someone who claims only a third-hand knowledge - was it a cousin of hers that she says knows Scott? But this cousin who knows all about Scott apparently knows nothing about Scott's partner Tessa.

But between "the cousin" and this Heather person they know all about both Cass and Scott. Gee, what are the odds.

    7. A lot of this is, I think, that people like this girl and other gatekeepers enjoy being gatekeepers. They enjoy being one up on other people. They don't want fans to know what they know.

That goes for many fans, too, who have figured it out or know some other way, and spend a lot of energy trying to browbeat other fans into believing the sham. They just like having what they think of as status. I think that applies to hangers on and members of the "extended community" such as Heather.

Look at Heather. Besides the fact that she's got faulty logic and overplays her position in every way possible, thus giving her agenda away, look at her tone. She's condescending. She's LOLing at the little people who don't get "the gig". IOW, smug, patronizing, condescending crossed with naivete and ignorance. The reality is she is likely among those who "know" Scott and Tessa's real status and she doesn't care for the idea that it will no longer be classified info known only to special people like herself.

The tone she's using as the sham enabler is, IMO, the attitude she brings to being one of those who know Scott and Tessa are married with a child. She just wants other people to stay on the outside, to preserve her own status. She's setting herself up now as the insider who knows that Scott and Tessa are platonic and knows all about the dynamics with his last two girlfriends (very very similar dynamics, it seems) and lol-ing and patting the rest of us on the head.

That is what it's about to a lot of Moirville and extended Moirvillians. Preserving their perogatives as guardians of the Big Secret. It's no fun when everybody knows.

      Delete
    8. Not to mention - Heather is very blithe "Ha ha - it's part of the gig you tools who have no experience with celebrities through your cousins!"

There are many figure skating partners in this sport. Some are platonic. Some are together. Some (other than Virtue Moir) might be together and pretending to be platonic. So that's a lot of people with the same "gig" as Virtue Moir, right Heather? Why are they the only ones to behave this way?

Love this quote from your entry below this one.

In all these years - they cannot make themselves say the specific phrases to deny marriage or parenthood. You can pull up every single interview, print and video, and they squirm and hedge and use double-meaning words and cannot name Scott's or Tessa's SO's and say they're in a relationship with those people. Everything they say about their passionate platonicness is in the abstract and the reporters are happy to leave it that way. No specifics. All these years. They can't laugh it off in a genuine, real way.

IMO it just makes overzealous defenders, like that newest twitter account, more ridiculous than ever. The fans are supposed to be devastated by some tweets that lack any logic? Uh-huh. You know what I think? That twitter account may just be nothing more than another backdoor attempt to get some photos out there - just gotta find the way that fans will find believable. Good luck with that.

  13. To amend what I said about Scott and how he always says fans are wrong - he often makes up something for fans to be wrong about.

None of this is questioned by the media because the fandom that Scott and Tessa care about - or pretend to care about - is the fandom on the web, and nobody in the media verifies what's on the web. They don't want to. The web is competition for control of the narrative - not just in entertainment media but across the board.

However, Scott's theme is pretty much always that other people have it wrong. And he's made up whatever it they have wrong.

  14. P.S. - I think my favorite part about Heather's tweets is her assumption that people believe her. "Sorry Virtue Moir fans - ha ha, lol." "Fans see what they want to see lol".

"It's part of "the gig" - a phrase I'm accustomed to since I know celebrities and clearly you do not."

Well damn it! Heather says they're platonic! I'm bummed now.

She's quite self-important with her wet-blanketry, thinking that by showing up and displaying an inability to construct a rational sequence, she's bursting people's bubbles.

The part about her believing that people who say Scott and Tessa aren't together are clearly unaccustomed to being around celebrities: setting aside that bit of Heather Hilarity and Heather preening - in actuality the people who are familiar with celebrities are some of the first to recognize what Scott and Tessa are doing and how it doesn't hold up. They also clearly recognize how an interview is constructed. And furthermore, the fact that Moirville has made such a unprofessional, boorish bungle of the sham points to their insularity and lack of experience. They don't know how it should be handled. They can't anticipate the pitfalls. They're unfamiliar with the shelf-life of social media. They didn't understand that fans who consume social media also consume legitimate media. They suck at it.

The other prong of the twitter: "Secret baby - where are they hiding it!" and "part of the gig" (i.e., it's the "nature of the sport") seems to be stuff they've picked up on from other fans and are trying to fan that flame, without looking at the inherent illogic of both messages.

    3. I love her logic: "If they had a baby, somebody would have seen the baby by now! Ergo - no baby!"

I seriously hope this is just arrogance on Heather's part. Moirville usually judges fans as being way stupider than they are, which means they have to dig a trench to even set the bar. Maybe Heather thinks this is what fans think. I hope this isn't HER logic.

That's right Heather. Absolutely nobody has seen the child. Nobody at all. No skaters. Nobody on the SOI tour. Family? Friends?

You mean fans. The child can't exist if fans haven't seen the child. Of course even without Scott or Tessa holding their child in front of fans, fans would be able to pick out their child. If some relative or friend who hasn't spent the past seven years camera hogging were holding the kid, fans would know, right? We know and recognize everyone in Scott and Tessa's life. Can't argue with Heather logic.

What Heather should do is get ballsy and tell us who Tessa is dating. Come on Heather. I know your cousin is up to it.

Oh I think these people who know Scott and love sharing all about his life on public sites can do better than just tell us who Tessa is dating. They can provide details as to how long they've been dating, where they've vacationed, if they live together, if they plan on getting married. Knowing Scott is knowing all about his life, I don't see why they shouldn't also know about his partner's.

    2. I really wonder if these are context photos. You know how Tessa posed between Semple and another guy, but then was horizontal sort of cozying up to a female? The 'fandom' will of course take it that Semple's her bf because of how he's been framed in the past, but the other photos are pretty much screaming 'these are not inappropriate or gross! She's being more affectionate with a girl for God's sake!"

Of course, all beside the point because what is gross is to be married almost 4 years with a small child but implying via social media you're sleeping with someone else. What you're actually doing in those photos doesn't matter.

But I suspect that's what these photos are about. Look at Cassandra partying, hugging and smooching all kinds of people, both girls and boys! Whatever she drops with Scott will be just as harmless.

It's not. It's the story being sold that's the problem.

    3. "It's not. It's the story being sold that's the problem."

It's true the underlying story is the real problem but the photos imo are also a problem in that married Dad is cozyed up to some girl not his wife, or is letting some girl not his wife cozy up to him - leaning in to him with both arms around him, sitting on his lap, kissing on the cheek, etc. The photos may be carefully posed and all that - but this is still a married guy. Even the socially-acceptable cozying up (yeah - everyone does it/it's just like fan photos/it's just like all the other friends/it's all innocent/etc etc) is gross when you realize this is supposedly a family man. Why is Scott posing so as to seem intimate with "strange women" (that's how kids will read it when it concerns their own parent) out on the town? Where is his family? Years from now that's the takeaway - like or not. So imo both the photos and the story being sold are a problem. They should have never gotten into the business of providing photo-story-telling on social media. That has muddied up the waters terribly.

    4. I disagree in that plenty of married dads goof off in photos and the photos are harmless out of the context of us thinking this is supposed to be his girlfriend. Especially a big smooch on the cheek. Somebody's sister or mom can kiss a guy like that. So where the lines are is something people are going to disagree about. Outside the context of us meant to think that Cassandra is Scott's girlfriend, they could be photos with a fan, a cousin, or other family member.

Not the photos so far with Jessica, which are something else altogether, and especially grotesque.

As of 18 May, apparently Scott was still in London:

  19. I think it's weird and obsessive how you guys cyber-stalk them, scrutinizing/analyzing every little information. I agree there's some weird stuff with them, but to think they absolutely plan out everything they say in interviews as a way to deceive fans, is way off base to me. I want to know why some of you feel personally hurt about Tessa and Scott's presumed sham. Do you somehow feel misled? Even duped? If you are right and all this is true, so what?

    1. Give me a fucking break with the "personally hurt" shame tactic.

Also, you're not logical. Everybody in public life is very aware of what they're projecting to the public at all times. To frame it like Scott and Tessa would have to be incredibly weird to do so is wrong.

If these things are off base to you getting informed is often a help.

    2. I think its weird and obsessive how this whole thing is - regardless of if everything on this blog is true, there are real key points that ARE true, that we have all seen - they play with the fans - "have to wait for worlds" - if they are not an item, Scott should NEVER have said that, along with a laundry list of things they've both pulled over the years.

Something stinks, we've smelt it for years. We can't confirm what it is, but WE KNOW IT STINKS LIKE B.S.

i do believe they kissed on the ice close to the end of the SD when they first come together and hold each others faces....she puckers up, fuck right off if you dont see it, you've never really watched someone kiss someone else then, you've never noticed the little things in life - she totally fucking puckers up RIGHT when they FIRST come together and grab each others faces...and then the look on her face after, and the little yes she gives him, that is NOT a REGULAR happy Tessa face! there's hints of embarrassment and shock in there too - bet she couldnt believe she did it - bet that eye brow raise from Scott RIGHT before they went into the last seconds of the SD was an "are you going to do it?" moment because how could he NOT kiss her - i'm straight and i'd kiss her.

I don't see how any outsider knows what they're thinking in any given moment - although it's tempting to speculate.

However - yes - the something that has been stinking for a long time is exactly the kind of thing that sets the stage for all kinds of speculations. Tessa and Scott bring it on themselves.

      Delete
    4. 5:15 here, i never said i KNEW what they were thinking, i said i BET - if you agree it is tempting to speculate then what was wrong with what i wrote?

there is nothing to speculate with the look on her face, anyone that can read subtle body language can and should see it.

  20. "Do you somehow feel misled? Even duped? "

    Yes.

If the sham is true, as a fan or simply part of the public they address in anything they put out, are you saying I'm not supposed to feel misled?

"If you are right and all this is true, so what?"

I feel misled. Played. Duped. Taken advantage of (they do want my money by way of a book, competition and show tickets, charity golf events, etc.). Got it?

If it doesn't bother you, fine. Then why bother reading anything around here? It happens to bother me greatly, so yes, I'm very interested in what this blog has to say.

    1. Eh - this poster is just trying to control the topic here by making people feel demeaned.

It's amazing, the shit fans get blamed for. If it is just a so what, then why does this poster care what's said here? If it's a so what, why do Scott and Tessa DO it?

It's disingenuous to pretend that the entire dynamic isn't interesting, because it's very interesting.
